You Gotta Serve Somebody

"... Might like to wear cotton, might like to wear silk
Might like to drink whiskey, might like to drink milk
You might like to eat caviar, you might like to eat bread
You may be sleeping on the floor, sleeping in a king-sized bed
But you’re gonna have to serve somebody, yes indeed
You’re gonna have to serve somebody
Well, it may be the devil or it may be the Lord
But you’re gonna have to serve somebody..."
I just LOVE this song by Bob Dylan.  It is so dirty, yet enticing at the same time.  I love all of the double meanings throughout the song as well.  Lately I have found myself humming it at random moments.  I love it when a song enters your soul and lingers there for awhile for some unknown reason.  Suddenly you realize the song can also be a source of an answer to a question that you have been pondering.  Think about it...
Anyhow, someone close to me used this song on their website so now I do find myself visiting his website daily just to get my fix for the day.  It was quite brilliant that he picked "You Gotta Serve Somebody" as he is a process server!  Simply brilliant I tell ya!
Check out his website here:
Peace and love,
Birdie.

Product Whore

I am a self proclaimed product whore.

I never stick to one product line.
Honestly, I do long to be faithful to one and only one product line someday...

Perhaps someday I will find that perfect product and will be able to settle down in suburbia using only that special one product line to please all my needs.
Until then, I shall continue on as a product whore, using whatever may come my way as I see fit.

Red High Heels

So the other day out of the blue, my hubs says to me "You have yet to wear those new red high heels."  My response is, of course, "I am saving them".  Saving them for what... I don't know.  In the back of my mind I tell myself I saving them for a special occasion such as seeing my family again or perhaps a great party that I have yet to be invited to.  I have to admit, I haven't even taken these beauties out of the box yet.

You see, these babies are special.  They are my very first red high heels. EVER.  Yes, I know, I am way behind on this but if you know me at all, you know high heels are soooo not me.  I was going out on a limb (a very high, far limb I might add) when I bought them.  I was having a great all girl day with one of my dearest best friends and that is when we came upon them.  I just had to have them and I had to have them in RED.  So, after 34 years of never owing or wearing a pair of high heel shoes I bought my first pair.

Today was a special day - Labor Day.
In honor of Labor Day I wore these beautiful red high heels while CLEANING my bathrooms.  Now I would say that is a very, very special occasion on this fine "Labor" Day.

Here's to all the women out there that sometimes just feel like scrubbing and cleaning in their red high heel shoes!

Lets go girls!  Rock those heels doing whatever it is that you need or want to do.  No need to wait around for those special occasions anymore...
